How much should I give?
The 2025-2026 Annual Fund Goals are $150,000 and 100% participation from our active family community.PYSF is community driven and our Annual Fund is the same. Every gift matters. Please consider a participatory gift.The Patron Giving Level begins at $1,500 which is just above the operating Gap. Gifts at and above that level make a significant difference in achieving our goals

Why not make participant fees higher?
The Annual Fund helps us to keep our fees at a level of affordability that provides access to a broader range of student athletes in our community.
Is my donation tax deductible?
PYSF is a 501(c) (3) organization and one of the largest youth sailing organizations in our country. PYSF relies on donations from individuals, businesses and grants for support.

Does it matter when I make my gift?
Yes, gifts and pledges made as early as possible enable us to know how much money will be available to support our annual operating budget.
How should I prioritize my giving?
There are three primary ways to support the PYSF community:
1) The Annual Fund to support the operating budget each year. PYSF asks all donors to support the Annual Fund.
2) The Gala and Online Auction to support transformative initiatives—advancing environmental stewardship of our waterways, preserving the heritage of wooden classics and maritime trades, elevating women’s sports, and ensuring community access through our scholarship program
3) The Capital Campaign to help PYSF build a permanent facility that will serve as a home for the organization, a center for the South Bay Sailing Community and an education and training center from which our sailors can launch.
